Jiayuan Qiu
About
Jiayuan Qiu is a multidisciplinary designer interested in design fields including services, strategies and material testings. He holds a bachelor degree in Design at Goldsmiths, University of London.
Before coming to the RCA, he worked for NetEase Game eFootball projects and Flickr. Through these professional working experiences, he found the service design is the field that he is interested in. During the study in Service Design at RCA, he learned how to use the most appropriate tools in analysing users’ behaviours, pain points, trends and giving the creative solutions.
He is also passionate about the possibilities of design. Not just what design is – but what it might be. As well as the impacts and boundaries of what design will bring to the culture, society and environment.
