Jin Roh
About
Jin Roh is a filmmaker and visual artist studied contemporary art practice at the Royal College of Art in the United Kingdom. He previously studied film at the Korea National University of Arts.
His work primarily explores themes of social discrimination based on personal background and identity. Moving fluidly between cinema and fine art, he delves into narratives that challenge societal norms and question established perspectives.
His films have been officially selected at numerous international film festivals, including the 53rd Sitges International Film Festival, and the 25th Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival, among many others. In addition to filmmaking, his artistic practice extends into exhibitions and interdisciplinary projects that blur the boundaries between film and contemporary art.
