Akin Sanjayan
About
Akin Sanjayan is a visual storyteller from Kerala, India, working across still and moving images, driven by a pursuit of rupture, unpredictability, and visual tension. His practice does not aim to capture time but to interrupt it, constructing moments that feel suspended, layered, or destabilised and reveal quiet anomalies beneath structured systems. Akin uses visual disruption as a narrative tool, challenging linear perception and inviting viewers into a space where meaning is unsettled and constantly shifting. Through distortion, rhythm, and non-linearity, his work invites viewers to reflect more deeply.
