Jiayi Hu (Tibbie)
About
Tibbie Hu is a visual artist working across photography, moving image, and performance. She positions herself within a critical gaze, using the body as an entry point to examine the cultural anxieties evoked by “matter out of place.” Her practice explores how cultural order, social norms, and structures of power manifest and shift through everyday experience. Moving between chaos and control, self and other, her work seeks to disturb fixed boundaries and open up a freer, less defined space of imagination.
