About

Po-Chun is a London-based photographer with a background in architecture. Originally from Taiwan, Po worked for many years as an architectural designer before fully dedicating himself to photography. His practice centres on the visual and conceptual intersections between architecture, landscape, light, geometry, and speed. Informed by his design training, he approaches photography as a spatial and temporal investigation, capturing the silent rhythm of built and natural environments. His current focus lies in developing a refined and personal language within professional architectural photography, where each frame reflects a deep engagement with structure, movement, and the atmosphere of place.

ArchiPoFoto is Po’s ongoing project exploring the relationship between architecture and photography, developed under the group theme Slowness. Building on his foundation in architectural design, Po approaches camera-making as a continuation of spatial thinking — translating structural logic and material sensibility into the physical form of the camera itself. Rather than adhering to the conventions of traditional architectural photography, his images retain a sense of artistic freedom: soft, romantic, and at times deliberately blurred. This visual language resists perfection, embracing imperfection as a poetic gesture. Through the dual practice of designing cameras and creating photographs, ArchiPoFoto becomes a reflection on process, perception, and the quiet power of intentional making.
