Edward Vince

Sculpture (MA)

About

Edward Vince is a London-based artist with a BA in Industrial Design from Central Saint Martins and an MA in Sculpture at the Royal College of Art.

His practice begins with meticulously sourced and curated collections of found materials, artefacts, and imagery, complemented by his own original photography and writing.

Responding to his extensive background as an advertising Creative Director, Vince critically examines the intersections of globalisation, production methodologies, consumer culture, and the psychological and physiological consequences of contemporary capitalism.

His sculptures function as allegories for society’s complex relationship with consumption and disposability.

Through thoughtful material transformation, Vince proposes that just as discarded elements can be reimagined with renewed significance and purpose, humanity might likewise discover more sustainable and meaningful modes of existence beyond the constraints of how we live today.
