The graduation project Phantasite is a research-based serious game that explores the politics behind public space design through interactive simulation. Players take on the role of a “community space coordinator”,  navigating conflicting resident opinions on the redesign of public facilities. Through branching narratives and visualized outcomes, players are able to see how seemingly neutral design decisions can either reinforce spatial exclusion or promote inclusivity.

By transforming spatial decision-making into an interactive gameplay experience, the project encourages players to critically reflect on the hidden power structures within urban environments. At the same time, it serves as a participatory tool that envisions alternative possibilities for public space and invites broader civic engagement.
