Muhan Wang
About
Muhan is an installation and moving image artist whose work explores the tension between narrative, object, and the body. Her practice engages with visual storytelling, poetic form, and material memory, often drawing from feminist perspectives to question inherited structures of meaning. She works across essay film, sculpture, and text to construct fragile yet deliberate spatial experiences.
Muhan graduated with a BA in Art and Technology from the Central Academy of Fine Arts in 2022, and is currently completing her MA in Information Experience Design at the Royal College of Art.
Seeing the shimmering trees outside my window,
I find my mouth cannot quite close in that fleeting moment.
All my wishes for the world’s beauty
Gather in the puddle of drool on my pillow after a nap—
Desire, affection,
Mouth open,
Drool spilling,
Ideally dripping onto my feet
