Bea Ysolda
About
Bea is a multidisciplinary artist and designer whose work bridges illustration, graphic design, and ecological inquiry. During her MA, she investigated wasted potential in discarded materials: an exploration of the broken relationship that exists between humans and climate, by dissecting landfills, our largest archive. Her research seeks to pick apart climate discourse, and why it is so inaccessible to the majority: who are often excluded from the conversation.
Beyond her studio practice, Bea has worked as a graphic designer for an architecture firm and a creative agency, with editorial illustrations featured in various publications. The MA deepened her research-driven approach and rekindled her love of writing, evident in her thesis and Substack. Her work now merges creative practice with urgent climate communication, grounding speculative ideas in tangible dialogue.
