Antara Kamath

Design Futures (MDes)

About

Antara is a designer, researcher, and strategist deeply curious about where the world is heading. A visionary with the ability to design meaningful, beautiful, impactful experiences that intersects with creativity and problem-solving. She challenges assumptions and works in an interdisciplinary approach where she unpacks user problems down to the core issue, to create products that seamlessly integrate into human behaviour. Her work lives at the intersection of human emotion, speculative design, and public interest tech. With over 4 years of experience in design, she has slowly evolved into someone who asks bigger questions, evolving from “how should this solution work?” to “should it exist at all?”, “who does it leave behind?” and “what kind of future does this create?”

At her core, she cares about people. About behaviour. About unintended consequences. About using design to ask better questions.
She believes creativity can be strategic, strategy can be empathetic and the future can be co-designed.
