About
With a background in fashion management, Wenjinhan Chen is currently a postgraduate student at the Royal College of Art (RCA), focusing on the intersection of fabric design and bio-design, and is passionate about the future development of sustainable textile materials and bio-dyes.
His current research project focuses on exploring new possibilities for sustainable fabrics in terms of health, comfort and environmental protection through the integration of bio-bacteria-dyes and functional fabrics. The project aims to promote sustainable Textile that fulfil the wearer’s experience while being both skin-healthy and environmentally friendly.
Through this research, Wen jinhan hopes to redefine the role of wearable textiles in the future – not only as an expression of external aesthetics, but also as an innovative vehicle to support personal health and ecological resilience.
