Gloria Guo
About
Gloria Guo is a multidisciplinary service designer and visual creative who blends strong design intuition with a collaborative approach to transform complexity into clear, human-centred experiences. Her practice is grounded in the belief that design is fundamentally about making meaningful connections between people, systems, and the stories they carry.
At the RCA, Gloria created Kinplace, a service supporting intergenerational living through shared housing and mutual support at all life stages. By encouraging daily acts of care, Kinplace nurtures close relationships between generations and invites new narratives about ageing, home, and belonging. In doing so, it transforms cohabitation into genuine connection and creates environments where people thrive together.
Looking ahead, Gloria is committed to crafting emotionally resonant work that honours lived experience. She values close collaboration with communities to develop services that feel personal—like an old friend who truly understands you.
