About
Hi, my name is Yufu Sun(Fiona). I’m a textile designer, specializing in creating various textures and patterns in knit. I like to design knitted textures with themes of things from nature. Try to combine different types of yarns and materials to explore more possibilities of fabrics.
This project incorporates the duality of light and shadow through experimental material combinations. The knit patterns and techniques are being progressively refined and finalized through iterative development.
By manipulating tension, stitch density, yarn transparency, and three-dimensional forms of knit fabrics can capturing ephemeral glow and details of knitting surfaces through the sunlight.
