Zitong Hao (Suskie)
About
Zitong Hao is a designer with a background in textiles, exploring materiality beyond conventional boundaries. She studied fashion in the Sino-Japanese cooperative program at Donghua University during her undergraduate studies. Her practice is deeply informed by surface qualities and tactile experiences.
Zitong works at the intersection of textile innovation, CMF (color, material, finish) design, and furniture design, often pushing materials into unfamiliar contexts. Whether soft or rigid, organic or synthetic, she treats materials as active agents—capable of storytelling, provocation, and transformation.
Through playful experimentation and thoughtful construction, she invites viewers and users to engage with materials in new and unexpected ways.
