Welcome to Contemporary Art Practice (CAP). We are a dynamic and innovative interdisciplinary MA programme. Each year as a diverse group of artists seek to develop, define and articulate our research and practice. We are a community of artists who are collectively concerned with the social, political, cultural, economic and environmental conditions of our time. Join us in the spirit of exchange and dialogue as we re-assess and re-evaluate what it means to produce and practice art today.

Composed of six wearable pieces—including two tops, a thong, two lower-body panels, and a headpiece—the works engages directly with the body, enacting a form of embodied resistance—where the wounded, adorned, and persistently surviving body becomes both the site and agent of refusal. The garments do not merely illustrate pain; they absorb, carry, and re-perform it, insisting on presence in a world that often denies it. Amid systemic alienation, the artist channels unstable transformation, emotional rupture, and radical care between collapse and liberation. Zephyr Zhang Zhang
